As part of our AIAA Educator Academy, regional competitions (capstone events) help our K-12 students get excited about showing off their STEM knowledge!  Join us to learn the logistics of organizing your section’s own capstone event for local students and teachers that will help to inspire and build our nation’s STEM pipeline. This webinar will present the module specific details of constructing a successful community event. Topics include: overview, logistics, timelines, organization, Q&A. The capstone event for Space Weather Balloon is a community LaunchFest, where trained AIAA professionals review payload readiness, provide FAA interface, review launch safety procedures and supervise inflation, launch, and tracking.
