Abstract
Abstract
The ANSI/AIAA S-153-2021 standard is defining a human spaceflight (HSF) spacecraft ontology from architectural and system engineering viewpoints. It provides guidance for strategic planning, systems and architecture design emphasizing human systems integration (HSI) requirements and constraints. While adopting a holistic approach, this complex domain is stratified using a three-dimensional roadmap (lifecycle, function, location) that guides the user to a high-level, fundamental, and context-specific design requirement (standard), based on the HSF program, mission and spacecraft goals.
Biography
Ondrej Doule, chair and co-founder of the Space Architecture Committee on Standards, has background in architecture, human-centered design, and system engineering. He is currently supporting the Artemis Program and is part of number of contractors teams supporting orbital and lunar surface systems as a senior human factors engineer.
Hope to see you on Saturday!
