In Memory of James C. McLane III

AIAA Houston Section member James C. McLane III died suddenly at age 70 on Saturday, September 22, 2015. Among other contributions to AIAA, his contributions to our Section’s newsletter, Horizons, added up to more than 50 pages from 2007 to 2014. Those pages are available in a special issue of Horizons via download (57 pages, 9 MB) (PDF).

Official Memorial Service at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1311 Holman, Houston Texas 77004 (phone 713-529-3589), beginning at 4:00 PM on Saturday, October 10,  2015. Immediately following we will move to the Bradshaw-Carter funeral home, 1734 West Alabama Street, Houston Texas 77089 (phone 713-521-0066), for a reception, about 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

AIAA Houston Section Workshop on Multiple Aspects of Innovation at NASA JSC will be held at Gilruth Center.

What is the Purpose of the Workshop?

This Workshop is aimed at facilitating dialogue among various JSC entities as to the progress made to-date and plans for the future of innovation at and around JSC. The success of JSC 2.0/Human Mission to Mars needs innovation in all spheres.

Why should I attend?

You will gain knowledge about innovation which will propel you to a great future. You will gain motivation to be innovative. You will get a Certificate of Completion and we will inform your Supervisor if you want.
